I like being able to try new beauty type of skin care for my face since I do have quite the amount of acne in certain areas and have a lot of scars from that as well. I hadn't used a mud mask before, so this was the very first one I have ever used and I have to say that I am very pleased. It came shipped to me in a timely manner and was preserved neatly. I opened it up the same day that I got it and made sure to first wash my face with warm water that will open up my pores. I do have filled, oily pores, even more so on my nose which I found to be the worst problem area when it comes to my pores. Once my face was washed I immediately dabbed it dry before applying a thin layer of the mask to each side of my face. It's a light grey color with a very nice texture. It wasn't too thick or too soft and can be applied rather smoothly to the face. I allowed it to stay on my face for about ten to fifteen minutes. While it stayed applied to my face I felt a cooling sensation wash over my skin. A pleasant smell of the mask filled my nose and relaxed me. It soon dried and was removed with yet again some more hot water. I cleaned off my face and made sure to get at the areas missed. My face felt so soft afterwards and I could see my pores rid of the oil and dirt that once clogged them. I will only be using this product once every week as instructed on the jar.
