African Soap w/ Shea Butter Review

From a sampling website called Pinchme, i got this product to review in a small box that came with a few other samples that are offered every other Tuesday of each month. The aroma is exotic, once the bar of soap is removed from it's wrapper the smell becomes stronger and nearly smells like black licorice. This kind of soap can be used on your face acting as an Acne Prone agent or a Body Bar.

Since i have a lot of bad acne that continues to reappear up on my face, i figured that instead of using it in the shower i would give it a whirl for my face. I get a lot of white heads and have minor blackheads that constantly show up around my chin. When i placed the bar of soap under the water, it turned a light shade of grey and began to become bubbly. I spread it out on my hands and yes, it did get quite messy. After i spread it out on my face over the area's where i had break outs, i placed the bar down on the side and saw later that it left an indentation. No worries though! Just wipe it off with your hand or fresh towel/rag.

I left it on my face for approximately two or three minutes to allow it to soak into my pores. Then i rinsed off my face with warm water and dabbed lightly around my face with a towel. After using it on my face, i felt a strange burning sensation that quickly turned into a tightness. To me, that's a sign that it was definitely working and cleansing my face. Don't be discouraged if you don't see a difference right away, it will take some time to clear up the dirt inside your pores.
